Nansen Dialogue Center is a local non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan organization founded in April 2001. at the initiative of a group of young people who completed a two-month training on Democracy, Human Rights and Nonviolent Conflict Resolution at Nansen Academy, Lillehammer, Norway.

The mission of the Nansen Dialogue Center is the social recovery and development of multiethnic communities. Social recovery refers to establishing communication, developing dialogue, building trust, fostering cooperation and building peace in the community. The Center contributes to the development of communities of equal opportunities through the strengthening of personal and social potentials. The center focuses on integrated intercultural education based on critical reflection on identity and prejudice, encouraging the process of dealing with the past and promoting a culture of peace and dialogue.
